Join us for a fun Doggy talent contest. Hosted by our very own pawsome team. Has your dog got a hidden talent? Can he/she shake a paw, count to 10 or play dead? Come along and join us for this fun free to enter contest. Certificates and prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place.
4:00pm – Main Arena
Following Paws Got Talent we’ll be playing fun games in the main show ring. Musical sit and the egg and spoon obstacle race with your dog – no cheating :0)
Race over the straw bales in our scurry. Fastest time of the day wins a prize ! All proceeds to ESSW Prize giving ceremony at 4;30pm in the main ring after the fun dog show.
Have-a-go on our agility course. You’ll be shown how to get your dog through the tunnel over the jumps and in and out of the weaves. Enter the fastest time and you could win a prize.
Prize giving ceremony takes place in the main ring at 4:30pm.
Demo’s 11:00 / 12:45 / 3:30
Watch the professional at one of the 3 demos running throughout the day then have-a-go at this fast growing and fast moving sport. If your dog is ball obsessed this sport is for you! Prize for the fastest time of the day. Prize giving ceremony in the main ring at 4:30pm.

Need a few hints and tips on your dogs obedience? Join Praise and Paw for their informative talks.

Learn the essentials of Canine First Aid with DogSafe Southwest in the seminar area.
All day grooming sessions with Katori Grooming of Plympton. Help and advice with all your grooming needs.
It’s all about kids in this area, bouncy castle, face painting and more…..
Cake, coffee, ice-cream, burgers… lots of great food to keep you going throughout the day.
Treat your furry best friend to something new. From treats to leads, toys even doggy cup cakes its all here.
1:00pm – Main Arena
Join us for a fashion show like no other. This is The One and Only PUPWALK.
All products will be auctioned at the end of the PupWalk and all proceeds go to our chosen charities. Big thank you to our Pawsome Sponsors.
1:30pm – Main Arena
Join us while we auction of the latest in Doggy fashion as seen on the Pupwalk. All proceeds from the auction got to Gables Farm Cats’ & Dogs’ Home, Veterans with Dogs Charity & The English Springer Spaniel Welfare Trust.
4.30pm in the main ring.
Prizes will be presented to the dogs who had the fastest time of the day on:

- Have-A-Go Flyball
- Have-A-go Agility
- Scent Gane

Woofs of fun with have-a-go agility, Temptation Alley – can your dog resist the tempting treats? 4×4 Flyball club join us for demos and have-a-go on their fast and fun flyball course. English Springer Spaniel Welfare host the scurry racing.
Learn a few Doggy first aid skills with our Dog Safe SouthWest seminar.
Have you been practicing your best tricks and routines for our Paws Got Talent contest? Bottle of doggy pawsecco for the winner along with certificate and rosette for the three most talented dogs of the day.

The Pup Walk
Join us at the very cool ‘Pup Walk’ taking place at the Big Doggy Day Out Festival at 2:15pm in the main arena! Pawesome pooches will be strutting their stuff and modelling the latest leads, collars and coats!
A variety of goods have kindly been donated by Dogrobes, Ford Pets, Equafleece, PP Enhancements, Pet Remedy & Salty Dog Studios and will be auctioned off to raise funds for Gables Farm, Veterans with Dogs and ESSW.

Yes absolutely this fete is all about dogs. We do ask that dogs are kept on a short lead and that you clean up after your dog.
